One night later in Marseille, France, Rene Dupree and Rob Van Dam locked horns for RVD's AWR Title (which Van Dam had won from Dupree in Nantes, France on 24/11). In front of 3,600 fans, RVD and Dupree had a half hour epic battle. In the end, Dupree was able to defeat RVD to re-capture the Championship making him a 2 Time AWR Champion.
